When I try to finish setting up the domain I paid for eggfriednat.com I go in circles and it connects to my free domain eggfriednat.wordpress.com.

I need help to transfer my blog to my paid site please

The site I need help with is eggfriednat.com. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hi there,

The domain, eggfriednat.com, does not belong to the eggfriednat account that you’re using to post here – you used a completely different username, associated with a different email address, to buy that domain.

To use that domain, log out of your eggfriednat account, and log back in as the account that you used to buy that domain. If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access.

If you meant to buy that domain for the eggfriednat.wordpress.com site, you can transfer the domain to this account and site, but to do that you’ll first need to regain access to the account that currently owns the domain.

    Hi,

Thank you so much for your reply, sorry I’m new to this so I’ve been trying to reply to your email unaware I needed to reply on here. Oops!

I’m not able to complete the account recovery process as I don’t have the activation codes.
I received the email with the link for set up but it’s now expired and it doesn’t send me a replacement.
I never fully set up the eggfriednat account but I’ve paid so I seem to be stuck.

I’ve logged out of the eggfriednat.wordpress account but when I go to log in to the other account it logs me straight back into that one.
Not sure what to do next,

    Kind regards
    Nat

    Hi Nat,

since you have purchased a subscription, you’ll want to look for a transaction ID:

    https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id.

Once you have it, use it with the Account Recovery form that @kokkieh linked to above.

If you’re having problems with that, email our team directly at passwordhelp@wordpress.com. Do not post the transaction ID here, as these are public forums.

Thank you so much for your help, I’ve emailed password recovery.

    Hopefully will get sorted soon.

    Kind regards
    Nat
