Account Recovery

    A website developer created my website using WordPress, but can’t or won’t help me recover access to my account so I can edit it. I started a new account to try & get help. Can I connect the existing site to the new account so I can edit it? They don’t host the site for me.

    Hi there! You’ve landed on the forums for websites that are hosted here with us on WordPress.com. It doesn’t look like your account has any WordPress.com-hosted sites associated with it; what was the address of the website in question?

    Alternativel, were you asking about a site you’re building using the WordPress software which comes from WordPress.org instead?
