  Hi folks,

  My mother is having trouble logging in to her WordPress.com account – she can’t remember her password, and the email attached to the account is no longer active so she can’t do an automatic reset.

  Is there a way that her account can be hooked up to a current email address or something similar? She needs to log in urgently to cancel the automatic domain renewal.

  It looks like you would need to go through the account recovery process. If you’re able to locate a transaction ID: https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id – it should be possible to use this with the account recovery form here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  Thanks Aleone. I found the ID for her and she’s now gotten the account recovered. <3
