Hello,
I’m trying to regain access to https://brokernewsletter.wordpress.com/
The associate left the company without passing on the login credentials.
The login was probably one of the following 2 emails:

Hello Amanda!
There is an Account Recovery option if you still have the Activation URL from your WordPress Welcome E-Mail, or if you have access to a WordPress.com receipt for an upgraded account.
You can see the instructions for recovering your account without the original e-mail address at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
If you don’t have the Activation URL or a receipt, we can ask a mod to come take a look. Reply and let us know either way!

Hello!
I took a look at the Account Recovery option and I’m afraid we don’t have the Activation URL or an upgrade receipt. I don’t believe the account was ever upgraded.
Please ask a mod to take a look. I’d love to find a way to resolve this and access the account.

Hi there,
The two emails you provided is not the email associated with the account.
What I can do is e-mail the address associated with the account so that you can check all of your e-mails and see which one receives the message. All you would need to do is respond from that e-mail to verify ownership. Then, I will definitely be able to assist you in regaining access.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi Darnell,
Thank you for your suggestions. Please do email the address associated with the account and we can go from there. If you find which email account it is, would you let me know? Our IT team might be able to regain access if it was previously closed.
Thank you,
Amanda

Hey there,
I just sent the email – let me know if you guys cannot recover. I cannot divulge information in regards to the account except to the owner of the account. But, I can see what I can do if you cannot find the email.
Thanks!

Hi Darnell,
I have not received an email, so I tend to doubt we will find it. Please let me know if there are other ways to verify the right to access.
I can also be contacted at (email visible only to moderators and staff) to continue this conversation via email.
Thank you,
Amanda

On the account email you are trying to access, it was not a person’s name, but a position. Do you all have a deprecated email that is associated with broker support?
Let me know if that helps. Thanks!

It could be (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff), or (email visible only to moderators and staff).
Please let me know if none of those match up. I have other contacts at IT that may have more knowledge of inactive addresses.
Thank you again and I really appreciate your help,
Amanda

Hey there,
It’s none of those emails you provided, but yes, it is a altisourcerentals.com email account – so the IT department should be able to find it if they have a list. Again, it has to do with broker support.
Thanks!

We found it! We were able to regain access through (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thank you for all your help, Darnell.

Hey
Same problem
Hello
Im contacting you with regard to a new blog I’ve just started to manage as part of a freelance project. The web address is https://raiseconsulting.wordpress.com/
We are trying to gain accesss to the site but we dont know who set this up initially. The owner can provide a domain name email for the company but we’ve all tested the email and it doesent seem to be affiliated with this blog and hes not sure what other email address he could have used.
We basically just want to either gain access or close the blog down and start a fresh – can someone please advise what to do. In a nutshell we have no email address, username, passwords or verifications to provide to access the account through the ways suggested on the account recovery form..
We need a moderator to contact us asap …any suggestions??
Help…

However, if there’s personal information on your blog, I would be happy to set it to private for you so search engines and users can’t access it – just let me know.
Let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks!

Hi Darnell
We’ve already tried emailing every account we can think of to try and verify the account but have had no such look. In fact that is the problem – we dont know what email was used to set up the site.
All we have is proof that we own Raise Consulting, have email addresses with this domain and evidence that the first post on the blog was actually featured on the owners private blog a while ago.
Please please can you advise what we should do now?
Can you also please remove the first post I wrote on this thread here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/raise-consulting-site?replies=1
..it automatically populated the end of the post with details of another company I used to be affiliated with but no longer work for.
Thanks
