  Alright, here’s the deal.

  Our company’s owner hired someone to format and create our WP website.

  That was a few years ago.

  Said designer lost the information regarding the email account that was used to register our WP Website, so we have no access. We also cannot send a new password reset request due to having no access to the email account.

  Is there any way that we can recover our Website? Can we provide all of the information needed to prove that we are the owners of this business? As the Office Manager here, I’ve been trying and failing to get in touch with the right people that can help me with this issue. What can I do?

  Essentially, all we need help with is getting a new email address attached to the WP site because we have absolutely zero access to it.

  Hi there,

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, you’ll need to contact the hosting provider where the site’s files are/were hosted to regain access to it. We have no control over WordPress sites that are not hosted on our servers.

  According to the whois information about the domain,it looks like the site was registered with and possibly hosted at godaddy.com.

  Contacting godaddy support would be a good place to start to regain access to the site.
