  Hi, I have recently tried to login into my wordpress.com and I can’t seem to get in although I haven’t recently reset my password.

  Email (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  Username fannycacahuete

  I’ve tried both the ‘lost your password?’ (with both email and username), and the ’email me a login link’ without success as I never receive the reset emails.
  I’ve checked that the email in question is working and that eventual emails are not landing in the spam folder.
  I’m feel completely at loss. I can still log in to my wp-admin using username and passwords for each of my websites, but can’t login using wordpress.com.

  What are my ressources? In case I’ll never be able to recover my account, how do I disconnect it from my websites so that nobody can access them but me? Can I create a new wordpress user with my websites?

  Hi Fanny,

  The email address you mentioned is the correct one and you should receive the password reset emails. However, I had a look at our logs and found out that the password reset emails are bouncing back. Can you please check with your email hosting provider that everything is working correctly on their end and that they don’t block any emails from wordpress.com or wp.com?

  Thank you so much for your help. It was as you pointed an email hosting issue :) I’m so glad to be able to log in again!
