Account Recovery
-
I have lost all details relating to my account except my blog address. My current email address is not recognised. I need to know if there are other ways of verifying my ownership of the account, (other than are stated on the recovery form,)and recover access to it. Help please!

Hi there,
Can you please give the address of the site you’re trying to access? Then we can advise you of the best way to proceed.
If the site is hosted on WordPress.com, the process on our account recovery page is the only way:
-
My blog is on WordPress.com but I started it around 10 years ago, left it for several years, and no longer have any of the authentication details asked for on the account recovery form. Also the process of account recovery, as I have tried to follow it, does not recognise my current email address.
My site I am trying to access is allfinehere10.wordpress.com -
The username associated with that site is allfinehere10.
Our logs show there has been several password reset requests on that account recently, and all the emails show as having been delivered successfully. It’s possible they might be going to your email spam folder, or could be getting caught in some type of automatic filter set up on your email account.
Please try running a search for “wordpress.com” or even just “wordpress” in all the email accounts you own and see if you can’t find the email that way.
If you don’t find it in any of your email accounts and are unable to provide any other verification, I’m afraid there’s nothing more we’ll be able to do.
