OK so I’ve been trying to recover my account forever.
I’m trying to change up/delete my old website ethanlevinskas.com. It was through my e-mail address (email visible only to moderators and staff). I KNOW it was through this e-mail address, as I have e-mails saved of WordPress warning me I needed to renew the domain. The notice said the site would need to be renewed by 11/18/2018.
In my attempts to recover the account and set up a new password, I never received my ‘Change password’ e-mail. In my frustration and desperation, I hit ‘Continue with Google’ to see if maybe I made my account through Google instead. Instead, what this did was create some type of alternate account for the same e-mail address. Now, whenever I enter with my e-mail, I get into this alternate account, it was ethanlevinsas4681(it was a bunch of numbers after). Now, it sends me directly to this alternate account that has no websites attached to it.
The 3 ways listed under the account recovery form I do not have access to. I set up my website account a LONG time ago, and so many of these were likely deleted in e-mails, and the trash wiped them long ago. I do still have access to the renewal notice that WordPress sent to my e-mail PROVING that the website and account are attached to THAT E-MAIL.
Can anybody help me with this or is there anyone I can talk to directly? Because the site just keeps leading me in circles, asking for information that I can’t provide.

The domain is active and renewed through 2019-11-17. You will need to sign in to your other WordPress.com account in order to access it though. It is not associated with the account you’ve used here in the forums.

Here is the crux of my issue.
1. I don’t have access to task account currently so I wouldn’t be able to post in the forums with it.
2. I can look through my Paypal history again, but I couldn’t find the transaction history. It was a long time ago today I bought the domain. I worry I may have deleted that email.
3. But I DID get the renewal notice sent to my email at (email visible only to moderators and staff) — why can I not receive a password change link for that account sent to that email since they’re clearly linked?

Also how was it renewed? I never renewed it. Was it an auto pay though my bank account? Maybe I can go back in my bank history…

Hi there,
I can tell you the domain was renewed in October last year, and the renewal was via the same method that was originally used to pay for the domain. So please try checking your bank statements and PayPal account for a payment around that time.
We’ve also sent you an email to the address on file for that account, so please double check all email addresses you own for that.
