Account Recovery for an Email I Can No Longer Access
-
I have a wordpress account which I can no longer log in with. I cancelled the email account which the login was associated with. I wanted to log in and change the email, however, I am not promoted with a password prompt, but a form which automatically submits an email to that old email address. The account I am using is a second account of mine, which I did not give Admin permission, so I cannot make any changes to this site or my blog from this account. I need to recover my old account and log in and change the contact email, but I am unable to get any emails the authentication system is sending me.
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there!
Since there are upgrades on trafficjam.ninja, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Just fill out as much information as you have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as
WordPressfollowed by a ten-digit letter/number code. They’ll look like this:WordPress XXXXXXXXXXYou can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
I hope that helps!
