Account Recovery For Old Account without Identification Options
-
Hello,
I created a site in 2014 with the URL http://buenastardesbuenosaires.wordpress.com/. I tried to log into the account using my email and password, but I am met with ‘your account is blocked as a security precaution’. I cannot reset my password using normal channels, because my registration email no longer exists. The email itself does not exist, and the host (gmx.com) has changed in the last 6 years, and I cannot log into that account anymore. For this reason, I cannot proceed with account recovery through the account recovery form. I don’t have a transaction ID because my account is free, and I don’t have an activation key or URL because I cannot access my registration email at all. When I initially created the account, two-step authentication was not an option. I am looking to delete the blog altogether, but I can’t figure out how to proceed due to the email issue. I would really appreciate it if you could help me with this.

Hi there,
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the site was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover access to it.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
