Account recovery form: approximately how long to get a response?
-
I recently got locked out of my own account because my phone got stolen along with my back-up codes; in turn I can’t get my login codes via SMS as well as get past the 2-step verification process.
I filled out the account recovery form and have been patiently waiting for a response in my mail. I understand it takes time for the recovery team to respond, but I was just wondering how long it usually takes for someone to get a response. This is because it has been a little over a month now.
I created this account for the purpose of this post alone. The URL to the account I need help with is http://originaldante.wordpress.com/
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Hi tmichaelc,
That’s unfortunate to hear. Have you provided them Proof of Ownership like the Transaction ID and Activation URL?
They will actually contact you with a response or a request for additional information, and once they have proof verifying you are the blog owner, you will be able to reset your password and regain access to your account.
You also mentioned it has already been little over a month now since you submitted the Account Recovery Form. For that I have tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. You may subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they reply and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there!
I’ve sent a message over to your other account email address to help you gain back access to your blog. Let me know if that helps. Thanks!
