Account Recovery form not accepting my activation URL?

  Hi,

  Today I tried to log back in to my PhD website, https://gamesforcollections.wordpress.com/, and found out that my account under peppermintstickinsect has been closed!

  I’m trying to go through the account recovery form, but my email activation button URL isn’t accepted saying ‘The activation key does not appear to be valid.”

  I was using the free version of WordPress thinking that ‘online forever’ meant that my account would be valid until I cancelled it, so not sure what went wrong? Would really appreciate help with this :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That site is connected to the account pmintstickinsect not peppermintstickinsect.
