Account Recovery Form Rejects Free Legacy Blog — XML Export Proof Available
-
Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a WordPress.com blog: infrakshun.wordpress.com. The automated recovery form keeps rejecting me because it’s a legacy free account with no transaction ID, activation key, or 2FA (none ever set up.
However, I have the original full WXR export file with clear proof of ownership: – Admin-approved comments under pseudonym “M.K. Styllinski” – Original account email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Example from export:
<wp:comment_id>2182</wp:comment_id> <wp:comment_author><![CDATA[M.K. Styllinski]]></wp:comment_author> <wp:comment_author_email>(email visible only to moderators and staff)</wp:comment_author_email> <wp:comment_approved>1</wp:comment_approved>I’ve submitted the form twice with this info, but it errors on the checkboxes. Can the Account Recovery Team (or a Happiness Engineer) take a look? Happy to DM/email the full export or more excerpts.
Thanks, M.K.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
