Account Recovery without proof of ownership
-
I made an blog account back in March and like a dummy I deleted my email that had the activation url on it. I made a new admin account because I am starting web design courses so I could start developing themes and I used the email address associated with my blog not thinking it would delete my access to the blog. I tried to change the email to a different email hoping it would release access to the blog and now it can’t find my blog name or email address so it’s just floating there. I can provide proof that it’s my blog, as I am in the creators section (which hasn’t been modified or updated in some time) I have the old passwords to the blog, I have access to the email that’s associated with the blog and the name on the blog is my name plus there are pictures. It’s not an upgraded blog so I can’t get live support. Is there anything I can do to regain access to it?

Hi,
Have you tried logging into the account using the username and password, instead of the email address and password?
I tried to change the email to a different email hoping it would release access to the blog and now it can’t find my blog name or email address so it’s just floating there.
How did you try to change the email address? The email address can only be updated at Account Settings, and access to Account Settings requires logging in.

Hi,
I tried the username and it’s saying that it’s invalid.
As for changing it, I made an account on wordpress.org and somehow in all of my genius I combined the two accounts but I don’t remember how I did that.

Howdy!
Please submit this Account Recovery Form. This is the option to regain access to the account.
