Account recovery/transfer

I have been asked to create a page for my church. A page was created 5 years ago by a pastor who is no longer with us. I would like to use that existing account, since it already has a small amount of content and, more importantly, the right name. Is there a way to transfer ownership of an account if the creator has lost the login? The account is http://wesleyannaumc.wordpress.com/ .

Hi there. Your only option is to submit the Account Recovery Form. It would be best if the person who originally registered the site submits it, as it is necessary to provide some proof of ownership when submitting the form, like the confirmation email that was sent when creating the account.
