  Hi Conor,

  Thanks for your fast reply.
  I’ve already read that page. Rather than changing my password and forget about it, I would like my account being *really* deleted.

  Howdy Michele!

  Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to completely delete your account. The reason for this is actually a security method. By changing your account based off of the link provided by @csmoran9, your account becomes a “dummy” account where no one will be able to access it and use your username to impersonate you. This prevents people from taking your information or pretending to be you.

  To “completely” delete your account, you can remove the Gravatar image, change the name, number, and all information until finally changing the email. This will successfully make the account null and void.
