  Hi there,

  I have reason to believe my account was compromised by someone I know, who later regretted it and changed the login details back to what they previously were. Is there any way to check login in history, or history of account changes?

  Hi @kimshobbies1967,

  Looking at your account, I see that your password was recently reset. As a precaution, I have logged you out of all active WordPress.com sessions.

  I recommend changing your password, and enabling Two-Step Authentication (2SA) to secure your account. If this person also has access to your email, you may want to do the same for that as well.

  Hi staff-sheva,

  I reset the password today, which is probably what you are referring to.

  Last week, I could not login to wordpress.com, and when I tried resetting the password, my login email account was not recognised.
  When I tried resetting the password today, it did recognise the email account. I then reset the password to the new, current password.
  The suspected person does not have access to my email account.

  Is there any way to check if the registered email address for my account was changed at any time?

  Hmm, I don’t see any record of your email address being changed.

  Since you now have access to your account, as you were able to login, I recommend following the security steps above.
