Account security violated

I recently went away for a few days, but unwittingly left my computer on and connected to my network. When I returned, I noticed some odd things. All of my files had been squirrelled away into an archive and all my social media accounts had been suspended/deleted. – I had been subject to my network being hacked and my computer being used to set up a ransom for all my stuff.
I have managed to recover most, as fortunately I back up securely on a regular basis, and most accounts don’t close immediately. However, I’ve been unable to free up my WordPress sites, which seem to have been irrevocably deleted. Is there any way to retrieve it?

Staff have records of who did what under which username and login information and when they did it. I flagged this thread with modlook for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. Note that there is a backlog and be patient while waiting.

I know there is a backlog, does anyone have any idea how long it takes to look at one of these queries?

Huge security failure… When I connect on my account (website connexion or app dedicated) I can see a site owned by another WP member…
