Account/Site recovery.

Every WordPress page gives a different error in relation to the problem I am having. This help box says that ‘sailusvis.com is linked to another WordPress.com account.’. The recovery page says ‘Sorry but the website you gave does not exist on WordPress.com.’. I’m set on an endless circle of being sent to dead ends and told to ‘contact support’ which there is no real option to. This situation is very detrimental to my business.

The site URL is “sailusvis.com”, even entering this into the site address box of the Help Center window seems to break it and not allow posting to the forums. I’ve followed every guide and ever instructional video and have gotten nowhere. My site is currently down due to it expiring and have been given no path forward to rectify this.

Hi there, I see you received Staff assistance in your other thread https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/website-and-my-complete-wp-acccount-missing/
Concerning “sailusvis.com is linked to another WordPress.com account” it means you need to be logged in to a different WordPress.com account that registered the domain here. Can you check your emails and find the email address where you would have received renewal notices. Then log out of this account and log in using that email address. If you need to recover that account, please follow the guide here
At some point, you may run into a situation in which you’ve lost access to your account. This guide will explain the steps to avoid getting locked out and how to recover your account if you cannot log in. Provide a Recovery Email and SMS Number In the event you don’t have access to your primary WordPress.com contact information, you can provide a backup email and SMS number to verify yourand post the required information only in that form and not here in our public forum.

Have found the problem. This may be help to others:
My web developer 10 years ago had a WordrPress account that offered a free domain name/url and a second paid one. She used the first to develope my site and set up my credit card to pay for the second url automatically (which is the url we always used). My developer unfortunately did not set me up to be completely independent once the site was up. So after 10 years, the credit card got replaced last year. I imagine an email went out but was not received or acted upon. Then the site went down. Then confusion insued. Still can’t get on sailusvis.com. My developer has an email in to WP. Now that wait and the $$$ lost…. :(
