Account suspended

On 20th Feb 2012, i have problems logging into my site, therefore i requested for password reset.
Thereafter, i received the following message from wordpress.com:Hi,
You agreed to the WordPress.com Terms of Service when you signed up.
Your site has been suspended for including advertising or posting links to affiliate-marketing-based programs. Sites engaging in these activities are not welcome on WordPress.com and your site will not be returned to you.
If you wish to continue using WordPress for your site, we recommend you look into the self-hosted version of WordPress. My friend had set up this blog for me to market some products online, i was not aware that i was not allowed to do so.
Have browsed through one of the webiste: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/ and found out that i could earn money from my blog using a feature WordAds, however my account was suspended. I could not do anything from my end. I cannot understand the recommendation given my wordpress.com. I am not very sure what is self-hosted version of wordpress and i do not know how to go about setting it up. Any kind soul could help me and advise how do i get my site back and how can i earn money from my blog preventing the site from getting suspended? Your time and information would be very much appreciated. Thank You so so much.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot earn money from your blog. If you have been in violation of the ad restrictions already, it’s extremely unlikely they’ll consider you for the WordAds program.
Go to your dashboard and there should be a link on the note staff put there. Click the link and contact them. Nobody in the forums can help you with this issue; it’s between you and staff.

Oh, reading it over I see the site will not be returned to you. I’m afraid you are on your own then. You will not be able to get the blog back at all.

I have been sending messages to support, but did not get any reply from them.
I really wasn’t aware of the violation as this site.
Is there really no way out?

I have no idea about getting your ‘site back.’
Unless you get lucky, you may not be able to use the wayback machine either.
I don’t know if there are other internet archives ….
I suggest you buy your domain address out right.

As a policy, please refrain from discussing ToS issues on the public forums. this is not a matter for posting to a public forum. We Volunteers answering support questions have no role to play in this process. This is between you and Staff. You have a warning notice on with a link in it — please click that link. That link works at all times (even when the regular contact form is closed). .
If you have already contacted Staff by using the “click here to contact us” link in the notice, the ToS department definitely received your request. Please be patient as they’ll be getting back to you as soon as they can.

Where would they discuss ToS at?
If I were forced into a 3 day unanticipated/unplanned outage, I would be angry.
I do not know the particulars, so WP might be correct in their actions.
But, again, I do not know the particulars. And I have had outage problems all day long.
I backed-up up my weblog just in case ….. I guess I need to host a different software on a different service and see if I can script a restore over there.
That is how bad today has been.
And it reads above like this customer also feels that way.
This is not what I expect in the enterprise.

timethief has summarized the situation, and given the alternatives available for this problem. We volunteers have no authority to make any determinations about TOS violations, and staff does not discuss such things in public forums. I will therefore close this topic.
