account suspended

Help! My account was suspended. I helped a friend creat a blog because I was being publically attacked by someone. This attack contained lies about me- although she did not call me out by name. But basically the blog contained all of her original posts BECAUSE it was her routine to edit such comments and turn things around. I wanted to document the proof that such activity was going on AND defend myself. We did use the information the blackmail her, we just wanted PROOF.
So apparently she had discovered the blog and had it suspended. I know she had claimed that she had lost her job because of this but that is not the case. She has not been working at that particular place since June 07 and all of this information has transpired this week. What process does wordpress have when reviewing such cases? Do they just take someone’s word for it and just suspend? or do they suspend first for protection, then review? Again, this blog just contains HER OWN WORDS- so there is no lies here. Please help!

Volunteers answering forum questions cannot help you with this matter, only staff can. During week days and during support hours you can use this link to contact staff http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
You may also want to read the FAQs entry at the link below and note that staff only suspend blogs for Terms of Service violations and that each suspension is investigated prior to a decision being made http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/06/01/my-blog-has-been-suspended/

Thanks but this was after hours of support that this was done. Is it possible she reported it as spam because it is stated SPAM gets suspended immediately?
-
Staff clearly know the difference between a spam blog a splog and a blog with ToS violations. They investigate prior to making decisions. And, as I said above, volunteers cannot assist you with this, only staff can.

Wonderful-
I didnt think post someones direct quote was libel unless of course she sold whomever reviews on the concept she lost her job. -
@del68
I’m multi-tasking at work and unpaid volunteers do not provide the kind of support that requires us to keep up fruitless dialog on matters such as this one. I cannot help you anymore than I have already done. Please contact staff during support hours. And thanks, in advance, for your co-operation. -
I hope you didnt take my comment as rude- if so I apologize.
Thank you so much for your information. I do appreciate your efforts- I am a volunteer myself. I am truly just concerned…thats all. -
No problem at my end. I didn’t think you were rude I just can’t help you any further. We are cool. Best wishes :)

OK now that it is official support hours, can a staffer look into this for me. I sent a support request earlier today. Thanks
-
Here in the forums the volunteers have no direct contact with staff. If you have sent in a support request, then they will get to it as soon as they can and get back to you.

If you are taking someone else’s blog posts and re-posting them whole without her permission, that is theft of intellectual property and easily enough to get your blog suspended, whatever your motivations. Staff suspends blogs for that every day. But it’s hard for us to know what happened in this particular case, of course, and as volunteers we can only speculate.
