Account Suspeneded
-
I had a personal blog (http://raymejr.wordpress.com) that I set up some months ago and while the site is still ‘live’ and active, I can’t log into my account, as I get the message “account suspended’ message and would like to know how to resolve it?
I think this account may of had one other blog associated with it (can’t remember actually) that was closed for apparent ‘advertising’ and that’s fine.but why prevent a user from accessing other blogs under the same account name vs. just shutting down the one blog in question?
If for some ungodly reason it can’t be fixed, then why would WordPress.com keep the site/domain live versus just shutting everything associated with that account down?

I’m sorry but this is not a matter for posting to a public forum. We Volunteers answering support questions have no role to play in this process. This is between you and Staff. You have a warning notice on your dashboard with a link in it. Please click that link.
If you contacted Staff by using the “click here to contact us” link in the notice, the ToS department definitely received your request. Please be patient as they’ll be getting back to you as soon as they can.

“You have a warning notice on your dashboard with a link in it. Please click that link..”
and how might I get to my ‘dashboard’ if I can’t even log in?
DOH..!!!!
Thanks for the links though…I’ll check them out later!
Feel free to close this apparent support ticket…or should I log into my dashboard under the suspended account and do that! LMAO!
Sorry..couldn’t resist!

Sorry that made no sense to you. Here’s the link to contact Staff with. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

It’s not that your post didn’t make sense…it’s just that your ‘reply’ wasn’t applicable to my situation because you failed to READ the very first paragraph where I said:
“I can’t log into my account”…
Thus, why would you direct someone to log into their account and click on some link if they can’t get into their account in the first place?
IMHO..if you’re going to spend time ‘volunteering’, at least take the time to read through a post in order to fully understand what’s being asked, so then whatever ‘reply’ you give is the most accurate!
I’m sure you ‘volunteers’ have your nice little copy/paste replies at your finger tips, but at least know when to amend them when needed!

I’m so sorry I didn’t read more closely. Please don’t waste any time and effort on chastising me. IMHO you have a an issue to sort out with Staff and I’m sure you want to get right on it rather than wasting your time here.
