  Hi! Through ‘name cheap.com’ I have Word press to customize my website but for some reason when I try to sign in on WordPress.com, it tells me I don’t have a site. Would you be able to help me with this issue?

  Hi there,

  That is because WordPress.com and WordPress are not the same thing.

  WordPress.com is a hosting provider, like Namecheap.com, and you don’t have a site hosted with us.

  You have a site hosted at Namecheap built with the open source WordPress software, and that site has no connection at all to WordPress.com. The software that you’re using is made by a community of unpaid volunteers on WordPress.org, and anyone can use it and install it on a server at any hosting provider.

  WordPress.com and Namecheap are just two of hundreds of hosting providers for that software on the web.
