What type of account do I need to host a Leadpages landing page on my blog?

An account on another hosting service.
It is not possible to use Leadpages, or any other service using pop-up subscription boxes, on WordPress.com. To use something like that you’ll need a self-hosted site using WordPress.org: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
