Account upgrade question

Just wanted to confirm. Client has a blog: https://jonathanschultzonyx.wordpress.com and I believe this is the free verison. But client wants to add more advanced analytics (which I would assume Jetpack plugin will deliver). Question is , what steps are needed here? Just simply upgrade their account (from wp-admin) to Premium and he will now be allowed to install plugins and have advance access? What solutions are there to achieve more advance analytics and design control. Also would anything else be need beyond just entering in C.C info into account to upgrade to premium (or additional tech work required?).

No, there is no upgrade here that will allow plugins AND adding Jetpack will only give him the exact same stat setup he has now.
For what he wants you will have to find external hosting and use software from WordPress.ORG. Then export the contents of this blog into that one.

So is there another way to get advanced analytics onto his account through free?

There is ONE workaround, but it’s complicated. And you still can’t add plugins.
