accounting

It’s 1:18 in the morning and I just checked my blog stats for the new day. It says I’ve already had 3 visitors and 23 views. However, on the ‘views by country’ pane, it says that views have come from 7 different countries. How is this possible? How can three visitors be from Ireland, South Africa, Japan, United Kingdom, Spain, France and Australia all within 78 minutes?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

The discrepancy between views (including views by country) and visitors is due to how we calculate those stats for your blog. Typically a view is reported within five minutes, while it can take up to two hours to report new visitors, so at any given time your visitor count may lag behind your view counts.

I hope that helps explain it! We also have more details about your blog’s stats here: Stats
