Accounts Connected, Please Disconnect

Hi! So last week I asked to cancel our account that we no longer use. Unfortunately my current account is still connected to the previous account and it keeps going back to old pages. Honestly it’s making me nuts. Please help me. Why didn’t the old account get deleted like I asked? Since it is still existing, all of my wordpress links go back to old pages. I’ve cleared my cache and it’s still doing that. My email is connected to both accounts so when I sign in, it keeps taking me back to the old account. Please, please help me.

It works if I have the direct links but once in my account, when I click on the links, it sends me to our old account for some reason. Is there something more than clearing my cache? Or is it a problem within my account in wordpress? Or is it a wordpress.com vs. wordpress.org issue? It’s been so stressful ;/ -

If you click on that link, does it go to my admin page? Or do you have to sign in? For me, it goes straight there but if I click on a link on that page, like media, it will throw me back to https://wordpress.com/media/pdactive2021.wordpress.com?site=pdactive.org which is NOT what I want. Ideas? Suggestions? Any help will be so much appreciated. -

pdactive.org belongs to me and my organization and I’m the admin on the account and I’m losing my bonkers with this entire thing. The two accounts were connected but I told WordPress to cancel our previous account that we weren’t using any longer and now I can’t access our account properly. Could you please call me? Or is there anyone I can speak to about this? Please. It’s been days and days of me trying to get help.

I just noticed this feed is under the treasurer email but my account is under the programdirector email. I was having trouble signing in and getting support so I messaged when I was signed in using this username. But I usually use the programdirector email.

It keeps happening, that’s why! I’m signed in under programdirector in my site and its working with the direct link but as soon as I click support, it kicks me back to the other email accoung treaserer. so maddening!!!!

Okay, so I signed out and signed back in as myself programdirector and it says my site is: https://wordpress.com/view/pdactive2021.wordpress.com
which has a hamburger picture and the treasurer email address doesn’t have a site, but then I’m able to update information on my site with a direct link so please, please, please help me.
i’m the admin for our website and it’s all my responsibility and this is making my job impossible right now. -
Hi, it looks like you must have multiple accounts — at least three, since neither of the two you’ve used here are attached to the site.
Can you log out and log in with the account associated with that site? It should be the email address that gets comment notifications and what not, so you can try commenting on the site and checking all of your email addresses if needed.
