Accounts messed up

  My husband and I share a WordPress site. We were doing well, but when I created an avatar and updated my profile, it won’t let us into a full dashboard anymore. It doesn’t recognize my husband’s account and mine doesn’t seem to be working like it did before. He is the administrator but can’t get to his account.
