Accredited themes and plugins

  How can we find themes and plugins that are in accordance with the WorpPress Logic without having to look at all php-files? It’s clear a wordpress site functions better and is more performant when logic is followed, and hierarchy is respected. How can we determine is themes or plugins are not so appropriate to use?
