Acquire a blog name that has been deleted!

  I would like to add another blog to my account. The blog name I require seems to have been already taken. But upon searching, I found that that particular blog name has been deleted. Was wondering if there is a way I could get it.
  The blog name is cheftastic.wordpress.com

  There is not, I’m afraid. Deletions are permanent and irreversible.

  WordPress prevents users from recycling old URLs to prevent friends and family from looking a site that they think is yours but was in fact closed and reopened by someone else. Basically to prevent any conflicts.
