Acquire my old blog address again !

  I made a blog address/url some three years ago but deleted it accidentally (what was I thinking huh?) anyway I asked for help on getting it back but I was told to wait for 2 years and I did that. Now its been 3 years since that happened and I am trying to retrieve it but when I write the url I get a response that it has been deleted by its author, which is me. When I go to create new blog address I cant get it there so its still not available.

  The blog address is the same as my wordpress username and some people say that might be the problem. However, it is important that I get it back so I can change my username (won’t like it but if its the last option)

  Once I can get it back I would like to change my current blog name to that and would then need help getting my followers moved there too.

  current blog: the orthodox.wordpress.com
  required(deleted) blog: qmsidd.wordpress.com
  username: qmsidd

  Any help would be really appreciated because qmsidd is my pseudonym and I therefore require it for my blog address….

  Just please help / advice me on the following:

  I need to get this name registered for my blog. I already have a blog and I will need its contents on this new one. So should I create the blog address first then export that old blog here or should I use rename blog option and rename with qmsidd ???

  Which will be better to be able to move my followers later on ?

  You should definitely export the contents from the old blog and import it into the new blog. You don’t want to rename the account because the old username will be permanently deleted and the you can rename an account to username that already exisits.

  Dear Darnelldibbles,

  I would like to thank you so much for getting me my blog address back. I have got it now and have been able to successfully import the content from the other blog.

  However, it is still not showing in the web browser. When I write the blog address it still displays that it has been deleted by the author. Why is that so? Do I have to wait and let it appear over time or is there something wrong with it ?

  Please help…!

  OK seems like I needed to post a fresh article to get theist working. As soon as Ipublished the article the website is live…
