I’m an administrator for the site at the above URL and I recently received a notification that the domain registration is about to expire. I was able to pay for a simple domain registration for $18 last year. Is this option no longer available?
Also, I’m restricted in terms of what I can do in terms of account updates and am receiving a pop-up notification that user ‘gabem2014’ must approve changes. That user no longer works for my organization and is no longer even an authorized admin profile for this site. Please advise on how to transfer these rights. Thanks!

Hi there,
What exactly are you trying to update, and where do you see the notification that another user must approve it?
It looks like that domain was only transferred to your account yesterday. Before that gabem2014 was still the owner of the domain. So as you now own the domain you should be able to do what’s needed.

It looks like there was some problems with the domain transfer. That has been fixed now, but due to the regulations regarding domain ownership the transfer needs to be confirmed on both sides.
You should already have received an email to confirm the transfer on your end, and a similar email will be sent to the old owner of the domain. The domain will only be transferred once both of you confirm, so please contact the old owner and make sure they do that, or your domain might not work properly.

Thanks for the follow-up. I contacted the old owner and he says he hasn’t seen anything come through his email. Are you able to confirm if his user is attached to his acrs.org email address? If so, that might be problematic as it has likely been disabled. I’ll check with my IT folks as well.

However, it looks like the domain is now verified. Can you just double check that the domain is showing the correct information here:
If not, you can try updating it, but any change to the email address will send a confirmation email to both the email currently showing there as well as the new one you enter, and both will need to confirm to finalise the change.
