Activate markdown support
-
Hello, I found this link but I can’t see the Use Markdown for posts and pages option in Settings → Writing. I’m using my own server, not wordpress.com (maybe it has something to do with it).
I find hard to believe that the link says something it doesn’t exist, so it must be something wrong with my WordPress installation. I’m using the 4.9.8 version.
Can anyone help me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It seems that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com but a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software.
Name Server: NS1BDG.NAME.COM
Name Server: NS2FGV.NAME.COM
Name Server: NS3FGH.NAME.COM
Name Server: NS4KSY.NAME.COMThe documentation you found is meant for sites hosted on WordPress.com. To use Markdown for your self-hosted site, you need a Markdown plugin:

For future self-hosted WordPress questions, you’re recommended to post them at the WordPress.org forum and seek help from the experts and volunteer members there. You may need to register an account if you don’t already have one.

Thank you!
I kind of suspect this was related to it, but I wasn’t sure.
I’ll look for help there.
