Activate My Domain?

  Hello, I created a domain through WordPress in 2016 or 2017, had it renewed but then I didn’t have a card for a while so I wasn’t able to renew it. I came back with a new card to get a WordPress subscription as well as reactivate my domain and it keeps telling me there’s a DNS failure and I need to copy paste the following on my domain provider’s site. WordPress is my domain provider site and I don’t know exactly where to put it.

  To point your domain at your WordPress.com site, log in to your domain provider’s site (where you purchased the domain), and update your name servers to:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com
  If you already did this, no further action is required.

  Hi there,

  I checked the whois, and the domain provider for kenechukwu.com is Godaddy, not WordPress.com.

  You’ll need to log into your account with GoDaddy and update your nameservers to what you were provided above in order to use the domain with your WordPress.com site.

  Here are instructions from GoDaddy’s website on how to point your nameservers.

  I don’t have an account with GoDaddy. If I make an account with GoDaddy will they give me Kenechukwu.com?

  If you do not have an account with GoDaddy, I would reach out to them in regards to the domain. It doesn’t look like it’s being used, but someone may have purchased it after it expired.

  I got in touch with GoDaddy and they said that yes it had been purchased by someone :( . Thank you for your help!
