activate sidebar – truly minimal theme

    hello :)
    i recently changed theme to truly minimal and am trying to get sidebar set up. it seems i only have 3 spots available in sidebar. ??

    there is something that says “inactive sidebar” which i’d like to activate so that i can add a few more widgets…how do i activate that inactive sidebar? how can i add more widgets?
    (do i need to upgrade to custom design to do this?)

    Widgets
    You can configure one optional sidebar (if enabled in the Theme Options) by going to Appearance -> Widgets.

    Unfortunately one has to use the Theme Customizer to locate the Theme Options.

    so i have one sidebar (with three spots) activated.
    is that all i get with this theme?

    must i do the upgrade in order to add more sidebar widgets?
    after clicking on the link you provided, i’m still unsure.
