activate stats page
-
What do you see when you go here:
-
-
Can you see this summary:
https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?view=geoviews&summarize&numdays=7&blog=59732100&unit=1
-
Yes I can see that one too. But I cannot break it down by specific months like I used to.
-
I’m also seeing the Activate Your Stats message, but don’t know how to activate. It’s showing me visitors, but not countries. This is the blog I’m concerned about: https://wordpress.com/stats/day/killiankatie.wordpress.com

Howdy everyone.
I’m working with some of my colleagues to look into the “activate stats” message.

In the interim, do you have any suggestions for displaying the country data by a specific date range or exporting it as a CSV file?

I set up a new account yesterday, and am also getting the “Activate Your Stats Page” While it shows the number of views and visits, the Countries part does not work. I have another account and this is fine. Is it just a problem with new accounts?
-
-
I would encourage you to give it a few days and see if it remains. Stats can take a bit to be calculated and ramp up.
-
Thanks, I will do. But it does seem strange, that the views and visitors part is working, but the countries part isn’t.
-
-
I found as soon as I put my first post on there it worked ok. Don’t count the one that says, Welcome to my first post! Add a post of your own and hopefully it will start showing countries too.

I have two blogs. One was started a few weeks ago and I get all the stats. The other was started this week and I am getting the same “Activate your Stats” message that others are mentioning, so this has not yet been resolved.
-
If your site has 1 or fewer posts and is less than two weeks old, you will currently see that message.
You can either make a second blog post, or wait until two weeks have passed, to get things started.

staff-ozmodiar:
Exporting your stats as a CSV is not functionality that WordPress.com currently offers
.
There I beg to differ. I finally figured it out:
1. Sign in to WordPress.com
2. Click “My Site”
3. Select “Stats”
4. Select “Months” (or other timeframe)
5. In “Countries” module, click on the word “Countries” in the top left corner
6. Scroll to bottom of display and click “Download Data as CSV” -
Thanks @guitarmusicincollections :) Our data team is always trying to make the stats better, so I’m glad that feature is available!
