activate users for private blog not working

we have a private blog that users are in the process of signing up for. it has worked a few times previously for us to click on the activate user link that comes through the email to us. however, today this link opens to a blank page. it says it’s loading our blog, then when it’s done loading, nothing is on the page. we need this issue resolved quickly as the users are trying to access timely information. please help!!!
