  I just got started but when I try to put a capital in my email address it just reverts to all lowercase, and I think that’s why I haven’t been able to get and email from WordPress so I can confirm my account. It’s supposed to be [removed by staff]

  Just to make sure, go ahead and check to see what email is listed in your account settings https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-settings/

  The capital vs. non-capital letters in an email address do not affect the way an email server routes emails.

  Hi there,

  So you are trying to update the email you are using for the account you just created? As @gregariousbadger mentions, the case does not affect whether or not you’re able to receive an email.

  You can change your account email address from here:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

  Please note that the change will not immediately take effect as you will receive a validation email at the new email address. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.
