  When I click ‘activate blog’ in my activation email I get the message ‘Invalid activation key’? How do I activate my blog?

  Will you please tell us what the URL starting with http:// for the blog is or the name of the blog _______.wordpress.com

  Do you have more than one WordPress.com username? In order to log-in one must be logging in under the exact same username that registered the blog in question.

  http://foodiedudie.wordpress.com , but I havent actually started it because I cant activate it.

  I only have one user name….

  Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive two separate emails during the reset process, so make sure you read them both. If you don’t receive the emails right away, check your spam folders as well. The confirmation emails can get caught in them sometimes :)

  I’m having the same issue now where I can’t activate my profile. When every I put in my WordPress address, my background appears, but there’s a message stating that what I’m looking for doesn’t exist. I just want to activate my blog. Please help!

  The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  I’m sorry I’m still slightly confused.

  I can access my account, but it tells me I don’t have a blog yet. I’ve received no other emails. Your link to foodiedudie.wordpress.com goes to ‘My site, nothing found’- how do I go about updating and changing that? When I go to site settings it says ‘User loui146 Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested’.

  Very confused! Thank you for you help.

  I just tried logging in as foodiedudie, and I got the message ‘I’m sorry, but we weren’t able to find a user with that login information.’ It’s nothing to do with my password, my user name was loui146, and the blog name was foodiedudie. I’m sorry I really don’t get this!

  I’m sorry, the correct username is ‘foodiedudies’ not foodiedudie. This user originally created foodiedudie.wordpress.com .

  Note that with any blog, you can also use your custom domain with Domain Mapping upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  Sorry but that still doesn’t work.

  And I never typed foodiedudies anywhere when I was setting this up. I wanted to use WordPress, but I think I might have to look I another blog site because this is ridiculous.
