Activating my Word Press Account

  I want to set up a wordpress account but I don’t want my site to that I currently have on squarespace to go down yet.

  Can I set up my WordPress account and not switch it over until the development on my new site is complete and ready to go live on WordPress?

  Upgrade it to a paid plan when you’re ready to connect/transfer your domain
