activating theme

    hi there,can anyone help me with this problem? I cant seem to get a new theme activated. this is the procedure that i follow.
    1. click appearance
    2.click themes
    3. install themes
    3. choose the theme i want
    4.click install
    whenever i do this a blank white box with the name of theme comes up. Nothing else happens.

    If i click on ”Manage Themes’ I am able to actvate anyone of the available themes which is only three, but nothing happens from the install theme section. Help please

    Are you talking about http://lawdoug.wordpress.com/ ? Because you can’t install outside themes on a WordPress.com blog.
