activating theme

  I am trying to activate ‘Russell’ theme and it give me the following message: Unable to activate theme. Contact support.

  WP.com: Unknown
  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  This is most likely due to a problem with the Jetpack connection for your site, but I see you’ve since completely disconnected Jetpack, so it’s not possible for me to check the connection for any errors.

  Can you try reconnecting Jetpack and see if that helps? If not, don’t disconnect Jetpack and let us know here so we can check the connection from our end.

  Alternatively you can also download Russell using the button at the bottom of the page at https://wordpress.com/theme/russell, then upload it to your site at WP-Admin ->Appearance ->Themes ->Add New. Note that Russell is a child theme of Blockbase, so you’ll need to download both themes, and install both of them. Once you’ve installed them, activate Russell from the Themes page in WP-Admin to start using it.

  Ah! thank you! I disconnected JetPack before seeing your comment and now everything is messed up…how do I reconnect?

  Log into WP-Admin, and click on Jetpack in the sidebar menu there. You should see a prompt to connect Jetpack, then you can just follow the steps.

  If it won’t reconnect, then it’s likely due to your site still being in Coming Soon mode on Bluehost’s end. In that case, try launching it and then try connecting, or alternatively you can ask Bluehost if there’s a way to reconnect while their Coming Soon mode is still active.
