When adding my email address to activate my account I had a typo and missed a letter. WordPress still recognized it as an official email and now I cannot properly activate my site. I’d like to change my email address but I cannot do so until I verify my initial email. Please help!

This is a common issue. You can try changing your email address from account settings here-
https://wordpress.com/me/account.Also due to an issue you won’t immediately receive verification mail on your new (correct email address). Hence for that the staff will directly get involved with you.
Meanwhile, you can help by giving your correct email address on this thread, it will be redacted for privacy protection and will only be visible to staff.

Which email address would you like to use instead? Just type the address here as you normally would and it will be hidden from public view, but I’ll be able to see it.
