Activation disappeared
-
I created a site, but no activation email ever arrived. Yet I cannot get an email password because the site hasn’t been activated. The site exists. When I try to recreate I get the message that the site exists. It’s a loop. Any suggestions.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Could you provide a link to the site you do need help with?
Did you check your spam folders and/or look under “all mail” if you are using gmail?

I created a new text account from scratch to see if I could replicate the problem and I did notice that the activation e-mail did NOT go to my inbox, so you want to double check your spam/junk folder. If you use gmail, go to the “all mail” tab.
You can also access the blog’s dashboard from here: http://bearnabui.wordpress.com/wp-admin. You still won’t be able to post until you get the account activated, but you might be able to make other changes. You can also “resend” the activation e-mail or change the e-mail address to which it is sent from the top of that page.
If after all that you still can’t get in, let me know and we’ll mark this thread for staff assistance.

Thanks, Tried your suggestion and received error message:
Oops! That page can’t be found
-
The blog exists. If you want to remove the error message saying nothing found, blog. Then something will be found.

@bellarush, if you are saying you can’t get the dashboard to load at all, that is very strange. What happens when you click on this link?
http://bearnabui.wordpress.com/wp-admin
Make sure you are logged with the exact same username and password you used to create the new site. It won’t work if you are logged into another account.

Cannot get the Dashboard to load. When I ask to reset password, I get the message that there ids no such user or email. But I have a screenshot showing both when I tried to begin.

Gottcha. I’ll tag the thread for staff assistance. Make sure you are subscribed to the thread so you’ll get an email when they respond.

Member Since April 13, 2014 (3 months) So as you can see bellarush did not register the blog in question. You are not logged in under the correct username account and that is why you cannot login to the blog that is registered under it.This is all going to boil down to how many username accounts you have and exactly which one registered which blog. There is only one means of account recovery so please read on.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Thank you. I did as you suggested. For the Username and email, I receive this message:
Unable to reset password
I’m sorry, but we weren’t able to find a user with that login information
I have a screenshot of the page when created. It shows both the username and email address of the account I just made. No activation was sent.
There are no accounts under either name or address.

Hi bellarush,
I just sent you an email so we can discuss the details of that blog and account privately. Please reply directly to that email, or let me know here if you don’t get that email from me.
