Activation Email

  I’m trying to help my grandmother get on wordpress so she can use our family blog. This is the second time we’ve tried to get her a username. She never received an activation email. We’ve signed her up twice – it’s an hour now the second time and she hasn’t gotten the email.

  I’ve looked through the forums and other people have had this same problem. It’s not in her spam folder, I have emailed support twice, and I can’t find a phone number or a feedback link. What am I supposed to do for her?

  Oh, and I haven’t gotten a response to my emails to support.

  What procedure did she go through to get her username? And emailing support is not the best way to go. Contact them here

  She used the “sign up for a blog” page. Near the bottom you can choose whether to have a blog or just a username – so we chose just a username.

  And that form is what I used to contact support. I apologize, I suppose “emailed” was not the most accurate of terms.
