Activation email

I have just created a new account and, stupidly, mistyped my email address (I wasn’t asked to retype in for confirmation). This means I have not received my activation email. I have been back and corrected the email address in settings but have not received another activation email. Is there anyway to generate the activation email again or otherwise active the account? Apparently support are away until 29 October!
