Activation email

My site is https://wordpress.com/stats/day/myvagabondsite.wordpress.com. I am attempting to post my first blog. I see a message that tells me to confirm my email <(email visible only to moderators and staff)> by clicking on a button in WordPress’ original welcome email. I do not have the original welcome email. I clicked on the button asking that the activation email be resent. I am informed that it was resent. But nothing happened. I did not receive the new (nor the original) activation email. I cannot post my blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for your suggestion. After I posted my help message, I looked in the spam folder and found the email. Posted my first blog a few minutes ago. Woo-hoo! Thanks muchly for responding.

Will you please confirm that the email address here https://wordpress.com/me/account is correct.
If you cannot locate the email verification check your email client spam filter, and if you use gmail or google apps please consult these guides:

You can change the state of your own topics to ‘Resolved” in the right side bar. Glad it worked out and you’re welcome.
