Activation Email Help

  Hello all! I needed to create a site for a class I am taking and I apparently typed in .edo instead of .edu when I was registering. I kept wondering why I wasn’t getting the activation email. It wasn’t until I went into my Account Settings to hopefully resend the link. I ‘changed’ it, which is pending.. but being that I never was able to confirm the address, to begin with, because it was being sent to a bad email, unbeknownst to me, I am not receiving the change of email address email either.. No matter how many times I resend. If anyone knows how to get this handled I would be forever grateful!

  It was a combination of things – initially, I put a wrong character so I never got the activation email. I kept trying to change it… nothing with my school email worked. For whatever reason, I input my work email and I got it to work! Got my account activated officially, but then tried again to put it under my school email (the correct .edu lol) and NOTHING happened. For about 15 hours.. I had no idea what was going on but I tried it all, plus many colorful words. All of a sudden this morning I had about 12 “quarantine” emails, which is my schools version of telling me they think something could be spam but they didn’t just dump it right away… so I went in and allowed sender and all that jazz and boom. Here we are.. all is well 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ thanks for getting back to me!!!

  Haha, I’m glad they decided to send the emails along after quarantining them at least!

  You might want to set your account up with a secondary email or text recovery, just in case you ever forget your password, need to reset it, and can’t count on a quick delivery:

  The irony in your suggestion – I set both up yesterday.. neither did me any good until I could finish activating/confirming registration! Good times! You can bet I have ALL the backups set in motion now, though!
