Activation email not being sent

  When I click to resend activation email, it doesn’t send an email. I have been sent and received emails from the help team before now so I don’t understand why it does not send/I do not receive it.

  There is a glitch in our system that may have prevented you from receiving the activation e-mail. That’s why I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   I am having this same problem and I let the author know and she told me that I she checked it told her I opted out of subscription emails. which I don’t remember doing. I have looked for some place to fix this and can’t find it.
