Activation email not received

  Hello,
  i’ve tried to register with my hotmail email and i have not received the email from wordpress.com to activate the account. Is someone having the same issue?
  Of course i’ve already checked several times my SPAM box. Thanks

  @lindiscretdebiganos, I checked your WordPress.com account records and I can see that an activation email was sent on Oct 25 18:15:38. If you are unable to find that email, it may be caught in your spam filter and that would be a good, first place to check when troubleshooting a case like this. I have also sent you a separate email in case that helps.

  Also, could you tell me anything you can remember about how you signed up originally? I’m trying to capture some information about cases like this so we can prevent future cases if possible. Do you remember if you received an activation email when you very first signed up? Did you sign up using the mobile app originally by chance?

  I changed to a new email address, but the verification mail said that I did not have to do anything, if the email change was correct. Isn’t it better that I have the chance to confirm in a link? Now I still have the same old login email. When will it change?

  Hello. I recently signed up for an account with the username “drraycom” but I never received an activation email. How can I receive another activation email? I did check my junk/spam folder.

  @littlecatnip, we’ve fixed your account. Please try it again now.

  @jennifernvero, records show that the drraycom account is working normally and that the activation email was successfully sent. There was a message with subject “Activate drraycom” sent and the mail server on the other end replied with, “status=sent 250 OK.” That means you should be able to find the activation email and you may need to check your spam/junk folders in this case. Can you do that as a first troubleshooting step?

  I am unable to receive my activation email either. I have checked every folder in my gmail and there is nothing.

  Hello, I also cannot get my account activated. Whenever I log into my account, I see this message:
  “Please verify your email address.
  To post and keep using WordPress.com you need to validate your email address. Please click the link in the email we sent, etc. “

  However, the first email I was sent had no activation link, and I have not been sent any follow-up emails. I double checked my email address, and it is correct. Please advise.
